The South Dallas Cultural Center is open for regular business hours and is observing City of Dallas’ standards regarding to the Covid-19 pandemic. If you are planning to attend the exhibition please note that guests are not required, but encouraged, to wear a mask the entire time they are in the center, and must observe social distancing requirements. Welcome to SDCC!

The South Dallas Cultural Center is located in Dallas, Texas across from Fair Park.Β We are open Tuesday through Saturday. Our hours may vary according to dates and times of special events; see our event calendar for late-night program hours or call for daily hours. Admission is FREE, except for ticketed programs and events; please check ahead for possible fees.

Driving & Parking

If you are driving, SDCC is on the corner of South Fitzhugh Avenue and Robert B. Cullum Boulevard off the Fair Park/2nd Avenue exit on I-30East. Note that our parking lot entrance is on S. Fitzhugh and Second Avenue. Please put that cross-section into your maps search or GPS device.

Parking is FREE.

Bus & Rail

SDCC is within walking distance (.279 miles) of 1 Dart bus stop. Bus routes 216 and 13 service the area. The Green Line is the closest DART train.Β  For directions to get to SDCC via bus or rail, please visit www.DART.org for up-to-date information on stops, routes, and schedules.

Holiday Closures 2021-2022

The Center is closed on all major holidays. When holidays fall on a Monday, the Center is closed that Tuesday. Special hours apply during the 5-week summer program. Public access is limited during this program.
