ABOUT
The SDCC Music Lounge features local Dallas artists performing music from the African Diasporian culture. This concert series offers musical styles ranging from hip hop to gospel to zydeco. Each event is a small and intimate music session for the Dallas community and is designed to highlight the wide soundscape of black culture. SDCC Music Lounge is in partnership with SoFar Sounds and Jess Garland of Swan Strings.
Previously featured artists includes Hathor Hendrix, Sheran Goodspeed Keyton, Herbie Johnson, Zo! and Carmen Rodgers, Nubia and the South Dallas Concert Choir.

Lunar RAE is a messenger of love and light that journeys through time and space to reach her authentic essence through music. As an indie artist bringing a new wave of sound that combines genres like Soul, R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop and Rock, she has reintroduced herself as Lunar RAE: Lunar represents the femininity of the Moon, the rhythm of time, and enlightenment; surname RAE stands for “Reaching Authentic Essence.”
This concert is free with registration. Limited seating available. Walk-ins are welcome but priority will be given to registrants while others will be waitlisted. Donations will help support free music education.
