We are distinguished by our commitment to presenting exhibitions of the highest quality with a focus on the myriad of contributions African people make to world culture. We are committed to working as a community of artists, scholars, and arts educators who collectively provide best practices in educational and cultural experiences from an African-centered perspective.
In the past, weβve featured exhibitions by artists like Chesley Antoinette, Spencer Evens, Riley Holloway, Jeremy Biggers, Nitashia Johnson, emerging curator Nychelle Grant, and many more. Additionally, SDCC presents the ART214 juried exhibition during Dallas Arts Month.
We seek to diversify our offerings and continue to provide strong public programming related to African diasporic contributions to world culture. We invite all who are interested to apply.
