Our mission is to provide instruction and enrichment in the performing, literary, media, and visual arts with emphasis on the African contribution to world culture.
Our unique facility is located at the corner of Robert B. Cullum and S. Fitzhugh, next door to Fair Park featuring a black box theater, gallery, dance studio, art studio, and multi-purpose room.
Arthello Beck GalleryΒ andΒ Augusta Savage Youth GalleryΒ are exhibition spaces.
Black Box TheatreΒ is fully equipped with lighting, audio, visual, and two dressing rooms. Capacity is 70 patrons.
Dance StudioΒ is equipped with a sprung marley floor, speaker system, mirrors, high ceilings, and two dressing rooms. Capacity is 30 dancers.
Multi-Arts Room AΒ is a large open space configurable to almost any artistic occasion. Capacity is 45 patrons.
Art StudioΒ is equipped with two printing presses, work tables, working sink, and is dual-sectioned. Capacity is 20 patrons.
LobbyΒ area available for receptions. Capacity is 35 patrons.
Tables, chairs, projector, rolling 52ββ television, microphones, and kitchen area are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
